Bernie Sanders is still refraining from attacks on his main challenger, Hillary Clinton, at campaign events, but Republican front-runner Donald Trump is another story.
The Vermont senator had harsh words for the billionaire in front of hundreds of supporters at Manchester Community College on Monday night, accusing Trump of trying to divide the nation using “demagogic means.”
Sanders crowd was very receptive, booing when Trump’s name was first mentioned and giving the senator an enthusiastic standing ovation as he railed against Trump’s rhetoric as divisive and damaging.
The Vermont senator and Democratic presidential contender wrapped up a two-day swing through New Hampshire on Monday.
