Fall is the perfect time for bbq: cool air, football, fairs and bbq. As though nature intended it that way!! And you can’t do bbq without sauce and that brings us to today’s guest, Daniel Lloyd from Big Dog Sauces. Yeah I know we’ve talked sauce before, but, sometimes you don’t want to lean into the hot stuff. Sometimes you just want mellow. Daniel has a series of sauces (some used by competition rib teams) that are unique and I get to taste them on air!! His newest one called Cranberry Spice is darn perfect for Thanksgiving. He layers the flavors of cranberry, nutmeg and cloves into something that evokes grandma’s kitchen. AND he has a great story to boot!!!
