Thursday’s show highlighted the 44 years of The Friendly Kitchen in Concord. Since 1980 it has served daily meals to individuals who are homeless and otherwise food insufficient. The Friendly Kitchen continues to expand their service and have created the Family Friendly Program which we discussed on the program with Valerie Guy, the Executive Director of The Friendly Kitchen and Tori Berube, a board member and volunteer at The Friendly Kitchen. In the second portion of the show we talked with Mike Dunbar, Director of Content for Citizens Count and www.citizenscount.org It’s a very valuable website to have as our important September 10th Primary approaches.
