Coach Mike Donnell of the Pembroke Academy Spartans Boys Basketball team joined us in studio to remind everyone over 40 to get a colonoscopy. During a a colonoscopy on April 10, Mike was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer and is currently undergoing monthly chemotherapy treatments at the Dana Farber Cancer Center in Londonderry. He explains how the diagnosis changed his life and how much more he appreciates the little things. Mike has not been slowed down by cancer and he plans to return as head coach when the season gets underway this winter.
