I could have titled the article “Told Ya So”. Yesterday on The Sports Machine with Slim, I accurately predicted a Bruins victory in Edmonton last night. But I figure maybe it is best not to be too arrogant as I revel in the team’s victory. The Boston Bruins are going to give us a tremendous playoff run this year. I have been saying it for weeks, and a game like this one makes me even more positive that I am correct. The Bruins best players are coming through at the biggest moments. Charlie McAvoy has done it two games in a row now. He netted the overtime game winner last night vs Edmonton. And it was Charlie who put in a goal to win in the shootout vs Dallas on the final game of the homestand. He is playing absolutely top-level hockey right now. David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand both scored goals last night, continuing a trend of them both scoring big goals in big games. Our top end talent is coming through consistently. They will continue this trend right through the playoffs. Write it down and remember I said it.
