Annie Kuster officially became a Congresswoman on January 3rd in Washington DC, but a special ceremony on January 10th in her hometown brought out lifelong friends and several state dignitaries.
Kuster pledged to bring a level-headed common-sense approach to DC. She defeated incumbent Charlie Bass in November.
One of the dignitaries at the event was US Senator Jeanne Shaheen whose name was being floated earlier in the day as the potential replacement for Hilda Solis as US Secretary of Labor. Shaheen dismissed the speculation as “rumors.”
